Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi on Wednesday called an all-party meet in Parliament on the morning of 16 June, a day before the start of Parliament session of the 17th Lok Sabha Session.

Apart from this, A meeting of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will also be held in Parliament on the evening of June 16 to discuss strategies for the session.

BJP newly constituted parliamentary party executive committee Meeting will also be held in the Parliament on the evening of June 16, a day before the start of the budget session of the Parliament.

The first session of the 17th Lok Sabha will begin from June 17th and will continue till July 26.

Rajya Sabha will host its session from June 20 to July 26, Rajya Sabha secretariat stated on Monday. President Ram Nath Kovind will address the joint session of both the houses of June 20.

The Economic Survey will be released on the 4th of July a day before. While next day, that is on July 5th, new Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will table the full-fledged budget in the House.

In the first session of the 17th Lok Sabha that slated to start from Monday, the new government plans aims to convert 10 ordinances into law.

Earlier on Wednesday BJP reconstituted its Parliamentary Party Executive Committee with PM Narendra Modi as the leader of the party, While Rajnath Singh as Deputy leader of the party (Lok Sabha).

Thawar Chand Gehlot was appointed as the leader of the party in Rajya Sabha while Piyush Goyal as Deputy leader of the party in Rajya Sabha, Upper House.

The party has also appointed Whips in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, While the party has appointed Kailash Vijaywargiya as the Prabhari of BJP Parliamentary Party Office. While Balasubrahmanyam Kumarsu has been appointed as Parliamentary Party Office Secretary.

As per the Statement by the party, It has named following Leaders as the Special Invitees (Lok Sabha) – Nitin Gadkari, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Arjun Munda, Narendra Singh Tomar, Smriti Irani and Jual Oram.

While in Rajya Sabha, the party has named following Leaders Special Invitees – JP Nadda, Om Prakash Mathur, Nirmala Sitharaman, Dharmendra Pradhan and Prakash Javadekar.
