Nitish Kumar NDA

The dramatic series of events started to unfold late on Wednesday evening and with that, the interesting updates started to float. In the latest news that we are getting right now, NDA (National Democratic Alliance), headed by BJP has extended its external support to Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) to form a government in Bihar. FYI, Nitish Kumar has resigned from the post of chief minister of Bihar. The current government in Bihar was a result of the coalition between JD(U) and Lalu Yadav’s RJD.

There have been speculations about such a move ever since the name of Tejashwi Yadav was involved in the corruption charges. NDA had attacked the Bihar government over the issue and had advised Nitish Kumar to end the coalition with RJD. Some of the BJP leaders had also extended their support to Nitish Kumar with an assurance that BJP will provide its support from outside, without expecting anything in return. The aggressive approach, taken by the central and state management of BJP has once again worked out and today’s development seems in the favour of the party which holds the government in the centre.

The move of Nitish Kumar does not come as a surprise because he had openly opposed the opposition’s coalition various times in the last few days. It started with JD(U) supporting BJP’s Ram Nath Kovind as the presidential candidate and soon after, Nitish Kumar and his party distanced themselves from all the activities carried out by the cartel of opposition parties formed to stop BJP in the upcoming elections
