As the General Elections to the Lok Sabha inching closer, the Bhartiya Janta Party is all set to reach out its core voter base through ‘Kamal Jyoti Campaign’. A Campaign design by the saffron party to reach the beneficiaries of the Central Government’s Schemes.

As per plans, Bhartiya Janta Party is planning to reach out to 22 crore beneficiaries of various government schemes on February 26. Bhartiya Janta Party President Amit Shah will travel to a newly-electrified Uttar Pradesh village by boat.

BJP national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav said that Shah would even take boat rides to visit a few villages in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, which got electricity connections for the first time.

Bhupendra Yadav added that leaders and workers of the saffron party will fan out across the country to contact these beneficiaries as part of the “Kamal Jyoti” campaign. The ruling saffron party plans to light lamps in the houses and localities that have benefitted from a number of schemes of the BJP governments at the Centre and in states. Yadav further told that “Shah, besides chief ministers of party-ruled states, Union ministers, and others will be visiting the villages which benefited from Central schemes as part of the Kamal Jyoti programme, which will be a one-day affair”.

Apart from BJP President, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address BJP workers across the country through ‘NAMO App‘ on February 28. As claimed by the Party PM Modi on February 26 will connect with one crore party workers of about 10 lakh polling booths through video conferencing on PM’s Namo app.

Bhupendra Yadav added that party is also planning to organize bike rallies across the country on March 2.

Hailing in his Government at the Centre, He said, ‘Only 44 percent households had toilets till 2014, 98 percent coverage could be achieved during the tenure of the NDA government’. ‘Modi government plugged leakage of Rs 1,84,00 crore, besides reaching benefits worth Rs 6,54,000 crore in a transparent manner to the poor in the past four and a half years’ He added.

In a bid to retain power at Centre, the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party is trying to reach the families who have been benefitted from Centre’s Flagship Programmes including  like opening of Jan Dhan accounts, the Mudra scheme, the Swachh Bharat programme, and the electrification exercise during the polls and has been reaching out to them.

Formation of the Samajwadi Party (SP)Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) alliance and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s entry into active politics as the new All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary for UP (East), has forced the Bhartiya Janta Party to take steps to plan a series of events for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP Chief Amit Shah.
