Bahujan Samaj Party‘s Haryana Unit on Friday dropped hints that party may enter an alliance with the Political Outfit floated by BJP Rebel MP RK Saini, Loktantra Suraksha Party. The BSP Unit also indicated that party likely to end its 10 month-old alliance with INLD.

Speaking to the press, BSP President Prakash Bharti said, ‘A decision regarding our alliance with the INLD has been taken. A formal announcement will be made soon. We have decided to forge a tie-up with Mr. Saini’s party‘.

‘We have communicated our stand on the alliance to Abhay Singh Chautala and Ashok Arora (INLD state unit chief)’ He added while replying to queries from Journalists.

BJP Rebel MP from Kurukshetra Saini had last year floated the Loktantra Suraksha Party and the candidate fielded by him in the Jind by-election had put up a better performance than INLD’s Umed Singh Redhu.

The Bahujan Samaj Party and INLD had entered into an alliance pact last year in April to contest Lok Sabha Polls 2019 and Haryana State Polls together.

Senior INLD leaders were not available for comments. However, BSP had earlier this week also hinted that its alliance with INLD is under strain. INLD leader Abhay Singh Chautala had on Wednesday rejected reports that his party’s alliance with the BSP was under strain.

The INLD Party split last year amid feud in Chautala Family.

BSP’s move came days after Jind Bypolls that held in the last leg of January last month. In Jind Bypolls, the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) suffered a humiliating defeat at the hustings,  It was won by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s Krishna Lal Middha.

In Jind By-elections, Bhartiya Janta Party‘s Candidate Krishna Lal Middha won, defeating Congress Randeep Surjewala and JJP’s Digvijay Singh Chautala with a margin of 12935 votes securing a total of 50566. Jannayak Janata Party (JJP)’s Candidate Digvijay Singh Chautala garners 37631 votes and Congress’ Randeep Singh Surjwala gets 22740 votes.
