If Exit Polls to believe Raman Singh led Bhartiya Janta Party is likely to clutch the giant share of the overall seats in the Chhattisgarh assembly Elections. According to the poll conducted by ABP News, Bhartiya Janta Party is likely to retain 52 seats of the 90 seats, securing a consecutive fourth term in the state. BJP’s seat share in this election is expected to increase as compared to the previous assembly polls in which it had managed to grab 49 seats. BJP likely to secure a vote share of 42 percent.

While Congress may get 35 seats with 37% while 3 seats will be secured by ‘BSP-Jogi’ alliance. The Jogi-BSP Alliance seems to have done damage to Congress securing 12 percent votes.

Looking at the overall projection, BJP appears successful in reaching out to voters with 42% of votes in its bag, While Congress is likely to get 37% of votes in the state. inc

The state that sends 90 Lawmakers to its assembly went onto polls on November 12 and November 20 in two phases. The first phase saw a turnout of around 70% while the second phase recorded over 74% of voter turnout.

The counting will take place on December 11 with other state assembly elections.
