Several Congress workers along with the candidates have put a tent- in order to guard the EVMs- outside the storeroom where EVMs are kept even after the administration have built a brick wall in front of windows and doors of the storeroom.

Chahhistgarh went to polls on November 12 and November 20 and is the first among all five states. The counting will take place on December 11. “It is a very long period and we don’t want to take any chances’ said Pras Nath Rajwade, an INC Candidate from Bhatgaon Constituency of Surajpur District sensing an EVM tampering is among those who have pitched a tent outside the EVMs Storeroom.

Following the same path, other Congress Candidates are on the same suit to avoid any chances of EVM tampering. ‘We will have all district Units keeping a tab on from Friday’, said INC Spokesperson and State General Secretary, Shailesh Nath Tripathi.

While BJP Spokesperson Sachidanand Upasne attacked Congress and said.”Just because they have tampered with EVMs and Ballots during their rule, is the only reason worrying them, BJP believes in the People mandate”.

‘There is nothing wrong if a candidate has put up a tent outside to storeroom after taking a permission from the Collector’ said Surajpur Collector on the wake of the move.

While the administration has recently built a wall in front of the windows and gates of the EVMs Storeroom, paramilitary forces along with the

State Police have been deployed at the site, said the officials.
