As the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh is inching closer, the Indian National Congress is leaving no stone unturned to woo voters in the hotbed of BJP. For the last phase of campaigning in the state, the Congress is following the footprints of BJP’s 2017 UP state campaign. The party has prepared a jingle on the line of BJP’s Uttar Pradesh campaign and would likely to release it in next week in order to grab voter’s attention.

The Jingle begins with ‘Aa Rahi hai Congress, parivartan maange Madhya Pradesh’.’ The jingle prepared with a motive to install confidence in the voters who are in a dilemma before voting’ told a congressman familiar with the development. The party is planning to play these jingles on radio stations and during upcoming elections rallies.

This is similar to BJP’s Uttar Pradesh last round Campaign. Many such jingles were released with a central theme of ‘Aa rahi hai Bhajpa Sarkar’. BJP’s success in Uttar Pradesh is an open secret to all.

Congress, on the same line, expects similar results in the state where voting for the first phase in scheduled for November 28. The party also feels that the incumbent BJP has an upper hand in state campaign. A state Congress leader accuses the ruling BJP of spending over 300cr in the state election campaign. ‘We are just spending 10% of the total BJP’s expense and it is obvious they would be visible more with such heavy expenditure’.

Moreover, the party is also planning to launch a poster war against the Shivraj sarkar on running expensive ad campaigns. BJP is currently running advertisements in MP news on the lines  ‘Sarkar Sarkar mein fark hota hai, maaf karo maharaja, humara neta shivraj’. The central theme of these campaigns is to go the masses with the work done by the BJP government in the state and accusing Congress of ignoring the state. Another advertisement in the news by the Central Government reads ‘Wo mahilaon ke swasthya ko dhuen mein udate rahe, bhajpa dhuen se chhutkare ke liya gas connection deti rahi’.

Challenging their ad campaigns, Congress is coming with ads targeting the BJP for their high budget expense campaigns in the state. One of such advertisement reads-Congress ka vada, vigyapan kam aur kaam jyada’. In another poster, the theme is ‘Jantaki kamai vigyapan mein udaai. One of the Congress leaders from the state targeted BJP’s 300cr campaign and said in that big amount, more than 10,000 ambulances could be brought in relation with a recent news item where a family carried the body of a deceased member on the bike because of unavailability of the ambulance.
