Congress demands resignation of MP Chief Minister Shaivraj Singh Chauhan

Congress demanded the resignation of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his home minister alleging them responsible for, deaths of six farmers in Mandsaur in police firing.

Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi, blamed the MP government to respond to the protests of farmers with bullets instead of coming up with solution. She entitled the Shivraj Singh government as “Band, Baaja, Bullet” regime. She also accused the government of being insensitive. She further said that, “We have seen what ‘Hitler-shahi’ is and what a ‘tyrant’ government is in Madhya Pradesh after it treated farmers in such a manner.” The government calls the farmer as criminals and fire bullets at them if they demand the price of their labour.

AICC Secretary Jeetu Patwari questioned the CM and his home minister, that will they resign for killing their GOD, as they considered farmers to be their GOD. “The Shivraj Singh government stands totally exposed. Will the BJP government at the Centre take any action on them for police firing on farmers?” Patwari asked, demanding the resignations of both the chief minister and his home minister.
