BJP has adopted a strategy for the election campaigns of making the people aware about the achievements of the part. The idea of this campaign came from the rath yatra started by former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. BJP named this initiative as the Parivartan Yatra and initially began this campaign from Uttar Pradesh.
As per the agenda of the Parivartan Yatra a national leader, a state leader and an MP (by rotation) would be present during the yatra. The people will be educated about the changes brought by BJP government in the past years.
BJP’s Parivartan Yatra in Himachal Pradesh began on July 16 last year. While speaking at the last rally of the BJP’s Parivartan Yatra in the state on Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath dubbed the opposition party Congress as the mother of corruptions. This was the last yatra of the party in the state, it has covered all the constituencies earlier.
Yogi even accused Congress of dividing the country on the basis of religion and region. He further urged the people of Himachal Pradesh. that if they wanted speedy progress development and corruption free governance, they should vote for BJP.
The yatra in the state began from religious places and concluded at famous shrines. The yatra finished on July 4 in Mandi, on July 5 in Shimla, on July 8 in Kangra and on 11 July in Hamirpur. Yogi Adityanath said that he will be holding campaign for the Assembly election in Himachal Pradesh.
