The Senior Congress leader and former MP V Hanumanth Rao charged the ruling TRS and the BJP. He accused them of indulging in a friendly-fight and demanded an open apology from chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He asked the Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitaraman and BJP to seek the same from CM Rao. The CM was pointed out for his slip of tongue remark against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“The two parties levelling criticism and counter criticism against each other is only a drama. The BJP should seek an apology from CM KCR or else it would be seen as a clear case of TRS and BJP having a tacit understanding,” Rao said.
Rao also lashed out at KT Rama Rao for remarking Congress as “Ali Baba and 40 chor.” Rao then countered the case of TRS as “Ali Baba and chaar chor family rule i.e. KCR and his family members.”
Rao said that a PhD be awarded to KTR for abusing the opposition and its leaders. In addition, he demanded that the ruling TRS give Rajya Sabha ticket to a family member of Telangana martyrs.
