The CPI(M) led Left Front in West Bengal on Tuesday announced its second list of 13 Candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls 2019 leaving 4 seats for Congress which was won by the Grand Old party in 2014 General Elections. The left front in Bengal consists of – Communist Party of India(M), All India Forward Bloc (AIFB), Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) and Communist Party of India (CPI).
With the second list, the left front has now totally declared 38 Candidates in the State that has totally 42 Lok Sabha Seats.

While the left front has decided not to field candidates on Maldaha Uttar, Maldaha Dakshin, Jangipur and Baharampur Parliamentary Seats.
CPI(M) led front in the upcoming Lok Sabha Poll will take BJP, TMC and Congress. Ruling Trinamool Congress has already announced its candidates on all 42 Lok Sabha seats with over 40% tickets distributed to female candidates. While Bhartiya Janta Party and Congress has also announced its candidates in some seats of the state.

General Elections are slated for April-May this year that would spread on Seven Phases starting from April 11 to May 19. Election Commission had on Sunday declared schedule for General Elections 2019.
The Counting of votes for the mega battle of ballots will take place on May 23, four days after last round of polling.
