Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) will be pulverized in the upcoming Assembly polls in December in all the three states– Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, says CVOTER–ABP News survey.

BJP won Chhattisgarh in 2013 Assembly polls for the third time and is ruled by incumbent Chief Minister Raman Singh. The survey shows Congress performing much better than the BJP performed in the previous Assembly elections.

Congress is predicted to gain 54 seats in the upcoming elections. The survey does not portray much difference in the vote share between Congress and BJP, projected with 40 per cent and 38.8 per cent respectively. In the last elections, Congress could only win 39 seats.

BJP is projected to be relinquishing power to Congress in 2018 Assembly elections. The party is shown to bag only 33 seats, as compared to 2013 elections where it won 49 seats and claimed the state for the third time.

Just like Madhya Pradesh prefers Shivraj Singh Chouhan as the CM, CM Raman Singh aka ‘Chawal Wale Baba’ is favoured by 34.3 per cent people for the top post. While his contender Ajit Jogi is a choice of 17.5 per cent respondents.

Although Congress is likely to make a winning comeback in the state elections, it seems to be losing Lok Sabha polls to BJP in Chhattisgarh. Congress only gets 36 per cent vote share while BJP decimates Congress with 46 per cent vote share, according to the survey.

57 per cent people of Chhattisgarh continue to desire Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of the country. Only 21 per cent would like to give Rahul Gandhi a chance as the PM in the 2019 general elections.

Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh contribute 65 Lok Sabha seats in total.
