Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya, on Wednesday excluded his confidence on the voters of Uttar Pradesh and said that the people would deliver their ‘final strike’ in support of the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.

He added that the BJP would win more than 300 seats.

Mr Maurya told PTI in an interview, “Not only the voters of Amethi and Rae Bareli but voters of entire Uttar Pradesh will deliver a their final strike in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in all the 80 Lok Sabha seats and give an overwhelming majority to him”.

The Deputy CM of Uttar Pradesh asserted that the main issues in this election will be development, eradicating poverty, nationalism, wiping out corruption, ending terrorism and making the country number one in the world.

Describing the SP-BSP-RLD alliance as “opportunistic”, Mr Maurya said  that it is an alliance with vested interests.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh also mentioned about  the formal entry of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in politics.

He said, “I don’t feel that her entry into Uttar Pradesh’s electoral politics will have any impact on BJP. She was a leader of the Congress, earlier too.”

Mr Maurya said that he is of the opinion that SP, BSP and Congress are all one entity.

He also said that the SP and BSP should clarify the fact that, why did they leave two seats for Congress in Amethi and Rae Bareli.

And the Congress, should tell why the Congress  has taken the support of SP and BSP in these two seats.
