Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Leader and Maharastra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday in a big move walked in Mataoshree, the Official residence Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray to meet and in an attempt to give a final push to the possible alliance in Maharashtra for upcoming Lok Sabha Polls 2019.

The meeting between the two lasted for almost an hour was also attended by Maharastra Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil.

If sources to be believed, the two discussed the allotment of seats for the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections as well as Maharashtra Assembly Elections.

Talking to media persons that gathered outside Matoshree, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said he held a ‘positive discussion’ with Uddhav Thackeray. However, he did not make any announcement regarding the alliance between the BJP and Shiv Sena.

Early in the Shiv Sena Spokesperson Sanjay Raut laid new rule before the BJP if they want an alliance with his party. He said, ‘If NDA government is formed in 2019, Shiv Sena, Akali Dal & other major allies will have a role. All the allies of NDA are strong in their states & if you want to have an alliance with them at centre, the CM in that state should be from that ally’

Though, Shiv Sena is the NDA ally in Maharashtra as well as in the Centre but has constantly attacked the saffron party. Earlier, after the CAG report on Rafale was out Sena spokesperson Manisha Kayande questioned the Centre that why it did not accept the demand of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to probe into the fighter jet deal.

Sena has continuously attacked Centre over various issues including rafale Deal, Ram Mandir, Farm Distress, Citizenship Bill, others.

Ups and Downs between Sena and BJP have become headlines in the past two months. Various formulas have been contemplated in connection with the possible alliance.

However, Its seems like Maharashtra is going to be a hard state to predict this time as in another development, NCP’s Ajit Pawar reached out to Maharashtra Nav Nirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray. If Speculations be believed MNS may join Anti-BJP Front and join forces with NCP-Congress Alliance.
