As the G-20 summit continued for the second say, President of the US, Donald Trump waived at Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and walked up to him for impromptu chat sessions. He later described these interactions as memorable ones.

PM Modi also held a meeting with his UK counterpart, Theresa May, on the sidelines of the G-20 summit. He sought Britain’s cooperation for the return of escaped Indian economic offenders. He majorly aimed Vijay Mallya, chief of Kingfisher Airlines, who owes over Rs 9,000 crore to various Indian banks and has been living in self-imposed exile in Britain since March 2016.

After these interactions, PM Modi held a series of bilateral meetings, Modi had brief chats with various leaders at the Summit, including with IMF chief Christine Lagarde and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

After this Summit, in the evening, PM Modi will travel back to India.
