They demanded Bharatiya Janata Party Leadership to remove Satti from State Top Post. Congress has also lodged an FIR against Satti and has already filed a complaint with the state Election Commission.
Satti on Monday speaking in the Solan District of the state made derogatory remarks against Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi while attacking him over ‘Chowidaar Chor Hai’ Slogan.
However, BJP rejected the allegations and termed the video as edited. The BJP claimed that with video-editing, Congress is unnecessary misleading the people.
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party has filed an FIR against the Congress party and its workers making threats, criminal intimidation, instigating physical violence and for other electoral offences.
Defending his state Chief, Bharatiya Janata Party Spokesperson Randhir Sharma said, “BJP State President Satti rather was narrating a post in which some people had used derogatory terms. He while speaking in the rally was advising party workers to be patient while commenting about any political leader’
However, ‘Congress has shamelessly used only a small portion of the video.’ Sharma added. He further said that the party has a full recording of that meeting.
