In his statement to ET, Chandra Bose, Vice president of BJP State Committee said that the state unit should hold themselves back from chanting slogans like Jai Shree Ram and instead should implement PM Narendra Modi‘s vision of an ‘inclusive India’.

Chandra Bose, grand nephew of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, was chosen as the candidate for the crucial Bhawanipore seat during the 2016 Assembly election by BJP’s national president Amit Shah. Chandra Bose holds the opinion that BJP has no future in Bengal if it did not educate the ideas of Netaji and Swami Vivekananda among the youth of Bengal.

Bose also told that he wanted to setup up his own Azad Hind Party, but neither he had the resources for it nor the money and it would also take him another 15 years to setup the party. He further added that after his meeting with the PM regarding the plea to end the Netaji mystery, he actually saw PM’s vision of ‘inclusive India’, got inspired by it and joined hands with BJP. He also said that he joined BJP just because of Narendra Modi and his vision and not because of the party.

He also stated that RSS was a well disciplined organisation but it also had some drawbacks like any other organisations. He said that there are a few instigators in BJP and RSS, who needs to be taken care of and that a team work was required to implement the PM’s vision of ‘inclusive India’.
