Shifting the spotlight from two national parties and their PM candidates, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi declared Congress and BJP two sides of the same coin. He said if he were asked to name a candidate for PMs post, he would choose Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao than All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi.

The Hyderabad sitting MP, Owaisi addressed a public meeting in Hyderabad in which he regarded BJP and Congress as two sides of the same coin, claiming that neither of the governments has fulfilled the promises they made at the time of campaigning for their respective parties in the elections.

Owaisi claimed that K Chandrashekhar Rao has a better understanding of the Indian Constitution that Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi.

Owaisi said that if TRS and MIM take over the 17 seats in Telangana, there is a chance that there can be a Non-BJP and a non-Congress government at the center in the upcoming general elections.

“There is no difference between BJP and Congress. They are two sides of the same coin…How long will this Ram and Sham duo go on?” said Owaisi addressing the public on Sunday

K Chandrashekhar Rao, popularly known as KCR by the people, said that a coalition of regional parties will form the government at the center after the coming Lok Sabha Polls. KCR has been advocating a non-Congress and Non-BJP government at the center, alleging that both these parties have failed to meet people’s expectations in due course of their tenure. He has described MIM and TRS as a friendly party.

In November Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Nizamabad in which he said, that TRS believes in dynastic politics, appease minorities, vote bank politics and they lack internal democracy. He asked KCR to return back to London failing to keep up to the promises he made with the people of the state.
