Former DCC General Secretary of Kannur, and an aide to Congress Chief K Sudhakaran, Pradeep Vattipram joined the CPIM today.
Former General Secretary of DCC (District Congress Committee), Kannur, Pradeep Vattipram joined the CPM today. CPM leaders MV Jayarajan, KK Ragesh welcomed him as he accepted the party’s official memebership. It is said that he joined CPM because of the Congress-BJP links that he did not tolerate. Pradeep Vattipram was an aide to the state Congress leader K Sudhakaran. The official announcement was made at 1.30 p.m., today in a press conference in the state.
Pradeep Vattipram’s friend and DCC member, K Sudhakaran, is contesting from the Kannur seat of the party. He was earlier in news for pulling out a sexist campaign against his rival in the constituency, PK Sreemathy. But the campaign he tried to spread is an all-out remark on women as a whole which he never restained from passing even in the past. Sudhakaran had posted out a video which said only a man can get things done in the parliament and hence only vote for the ‘man’ and never vote for a woman.
