In a bid to woo voters of Haryana ahead of the assembly polls, Haryana Pradesh Congress Chief Kumari Selja announced that if her party comes to power, it will ensure that the farmer’s loans get waived off.

She said that the loan waiver is one of the main agendas on their manifesto which will be unveiled soon. In an interview with PTI, she said, “When our government comes to power, we will waive loans of the poor, especially people who take small loans. We are also going to write off the loans of farmers who are being pushed to a corner and are suffering under the BJP government.

The leader said that the government will certainly deliver its promise as it did in the states of Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhatisgarh. Kumari Selja also talked about implementing the waiver scheme in a stipulated time manner.

On being asked about the exit of Ashok Tanwar from the Congress party, Kumari Selja said that it’s his choice. Even though he was made the star campaigner for the polls, he chose to resign. She also said that Organisations are bigger than people. The leader further added “The Congress has seen such rebellions in the past and has always come out stronger due to its inherent strengths. Congress has the resilience to take these things.

Kumari Selja also apprised the reporters that the party has not selected the candidate for Chief Minister yet. All that she said was that the high command of the party will choose the candidate and that too after the elections.

Kumari Selja also attacked the Bhartiya Janata Party government for failing on delivering its promises. She slammed Manohar Lal Khattar of being unable to generate employment for the youths in the state. She also asked the saffron party of coming out with its report card of achievements.

The leader also posted a tweeted message to highlight the condition of students in Khattar’s government.
