The Indian National Congress who is making every efforts to revive itself in Uttar Pradesh has now announced to bring out a state-specific Manifesto for the UP that sends 80 parliamentarians to the Lok Sabha Polls. The party in the manifesto aimed to add issues that are peculiar to India’s Largest State.
Congress Manifesto for the State is expected to make promises about a revival of Old Pension Scheme, modernization of Madarasaa and Famers. Party is also likely to stress on the issues of ‘Shiksha Mitras’ (contractual teachers) and promised related to Ad-Hoc Employees.
This is being done at the behest of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi.
Party Legislature Party leader Ajay Kumar Lallu had taken already arranged a meeting between the representatives of these groups and Congress General Secretary for UP East Priyanka Gandhi.
The new inducted Gandhi had assured them that her party would address their problems.
Commenting on the Development, Congress Senior Leader and In-charge of the manifesto committee Rashid Alvi said, ‘We are launching a state-specific manifesto for Uttar Pradesh, as some of the state-specific issues could not been added to National Manifesto.

Earlier the Indian National Congress intensifying its hunt to make a comeback at Centre released its poll manifesto in 22 states after launching Poll Manifesto in New Delhi on April 2.
Priyanka Gandhi who has been appointed as party General Secretary is currently busy in reviving her party to take on SP–BSP Alliance and Bharatiya Janata Party in the National Elections 2019. Congress has taken many small allies including Apna Dal faction, Mahan Dal and other along with it in its mission UP.
In Uttar Pradesh, Party in contesting on 73 Lok Sabha Seats leaving 7 seats for SP-BSP-RLD Alliance. The party has forged an alliance with Apna Dal (Faction), Jan Adhikar party and Mahan Dal.
The Opposition Indian National Congress on Tuesday (April 2) released its poll manifesto for the mega battle of ballots 2019.
The Party’s Manifesto was launched in the mega event at party’s headquarters in the national Capital in the presence of Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Former PM Manmohan Singh, Former Union Minister P Chidambaram, KC Venugopal, Randeep Surjewala and other party top brasses.
Party manifesto titled ‘Congress will Deliver’ ‘Hum Nibhayengey’ focused on varsity of Issues including LGBT rights, rights for minorities, women empowerment, NYAY scheme among Others.
