Unique CBI judge Sunil Rana said the request will be articulated on March 7.

Mr Bhaskararaman looked for abandon the ground that he was not required for custodial cross examination and no reason would be served by keeping him in guardianship.

He was sent to imprison on February 26 on expiry of his custodial cross-examination by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which had captured him on February 16 from a five-star lodging in the core of the national capital.

Karti Chidambaram’s name had sprung up for the situation identifying with Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) endorsement conceded in 2007 for receipt of assets by INX Media when his dad and senior Congress pioneer P Chidambaram was the association back priest amid the past UPA administration.
