YSR Congress Party Boss and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will hold a parliamentary party meeting in the national capital on Saturday, two days before the start of Lok Sabha Session.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will reach the national capital on Friday and will chair the parliamentary meet next morning on Saturday. All 22 newly elected MPs of Lok Sabha and 2 Rajya Sabha MPs will participate in the meeting. The meeting is slated to begin two days before the start of Parliament Session.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to discuss the strategy for the Parliament Session and is expected to ask MPs to press on the issues like special status for Andhra Pradesh and other promises given at the time of state bifurcation.

Andhra Pradesh CM Reddy will also attend the NITI Aayog meeting which is slated to be held later in the day at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Earlier on Saturday, Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy allotted portfolios to all the 25 new ministers who were sworn in earlier in the day.

Earlier in the day on Saturday, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy assumed charge of his office at State Secretariat almost 8 days after taking oath as Chief Minister.

YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy on May 30 took oath as Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh.

Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP in recently held polls registered a landslide victory in both assembly and national polls in the state. YRSCP won 151 assembly seats out of the 175 assembly seat in the state and unseat Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP Government.

While in national polls, YSRCP bag 22 Lok Sabha Seats out of 25 seats in the state.
