The Opposition party of Andhra Pradesh YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is set to begin its Lok Sabha Polls Campaign from Idupulapaya in Andhra Pradesh. As per the scheduled programme, Jaganmohan Reddy will start his ‘Bus Yatra’ on March 16 at 10:26 in the morning after paying tributes to his father YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
Reports further claimed that the YSR Congress Party will also release the list of Candidates to take on Chandrababu Naidu led Telugu Desam Party. Speaking in a Public rally at Vijayawada, YSRCP Boss Reddy fired a fresh salvo at TDP Chief Naidu and called him a “cybercriminal”.
His Cybercriminal jibe came amidst ‘blame game’ between the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and YSR Congress over Voter Deletion row. YSRCP Boss further claimed that there are 59 lakh bogus votes in Andhra Pradesh, Reddy urged the people to check if their name is missing from the voter list.
His claim came hours after, the Andhra Pradesh Election Commission has received an online ‘bogus’ request that seeks the deletion of the name of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy from the voter list.
Earlier, State Poll Body has received over 8 Lakh Voter Deletion Requests in last 15 days out of which almost 25% that is 2 Lakh found to be fake. Poll Body State Chief added that there is around 6 lakh remaining requests that still requires Poll panel action and are not verified yet. This is crucial in terms of upcoming General Elections which are just now weeks away.
Election Commission had on March 10 declared schedule for General Elections 2019. Polling of all 543 Seats will take place in 7 phases starting from April 11. Results for the crucial Lok Sabha Polls will be announced on May 23 four days after the 7th phase of voting.
Andhra Pradesh will vote in a single phase on all 25 Lok Sabha Seats on April 11.
