As the income tax department continues with its raids more and more people are being exposed. Income tax Department raided the offices of TDP candidate Jayadev Galla in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur.

The income tax department conducted raids in the offices of Jayadev Galla, Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) candidate from Andhra Pradesh‘s Guntur. Galla, who is the director of the Amara Raja group had earlier moved the no-confidence motion against the Modi government.  In response to the sudden raids in his offices the TDP leader also staged a dharna in Guntur.

The I-T Department had recently conducted raids in Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s office and found a sum of Rs. 680 crore. Galla said that these were known attempts which the Prime Minister was conducting.

“This is nothing short of fascism and it smacks of emergency like situation. Modi is trying to influence the elections by selectively targeting the TDP leaders in Andhra Pradesh,” said Jayadev Galla.

Whereas reacting to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s alleged corruption, Narendra Modi had said how within few days of government formation, Rahul and his party had involved in corruption.

TDP spokesperson told ANI : ” IT Department should not conduct such raids without proper intimation to EC, we don’t know whether these raids are happening with EC’s approval or just on instructions of Modi led union government as per list given by Jaganmohan Reddy”.
