Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Working President JP Nadda on Sunday held a review meeting with all the ‘morchas’ of the party. Party Morcha or the Cell including Minority, IT, Youth, Mahila, OBC, SC and ST attended the party held in the national capital.

JP Nadda in the meeting urged the members to increase the party’s membership through the 5-long mega membership drive. Reportedly, Nadda said that the party is setting up a target of 22-crore members.

Among others who attended the meeting include Murlidhar Rao, Bhupendra Yadav, and Arun Singh.

Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched BJP‘s Mega Membership Drive from his Parliamentary Constituency Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the occasion, was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP Working President JP Nadda.

With the mega membership Drive, BJP is trying to increase its membership by 20-30 percent with the mega campaign. Bharatiya Janata Party has currently over 11 crore members. Senior Leaders have been tasked with the responsibility of making it bigger.

While BJP Chief Amit Shah is expected to visit Telangana’s Hyderabad later this month to a push to the party’s membership drive. Just like in its previous membership drive, members will be made through missed calls, and membership through paper verification will also be done this time.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Vice President of the party Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been made the in-charge of the mega membership drive.
