Jana Sena Party chief and an actor-turned-politician, Pawan Kalyan on Thursday at a public meeting at LB Stadium in Hyderabad, tongue whipped the Telangana chief minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao and asked him to keep to his state and not interfere with the politics in Andhra Pradesh, restricting the influence to their people.

Kalyan was addressing the meeting along with the Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) President and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Mayawati.

He continued to say that the people of Andhra have already suffered enough because of bifurcation. He said that two political leaders might instigate hate among themselves for the other, but that should not influence people of the two states or one state respectively. It is the responsibility of the leaders of the state to prevent such situations.

Pawan Kalyan lashed out at the Telangana chief minister saying, “If you have any rivalry with the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu, you go and seize his house or do anything you want to with him. But do not involve the people of Andhra in your Tussle of politics.”

Pawan hit on to the chief of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) for making someone from the Dalit community as the first chief minister of the newly-formed state. Pointing out the several defectors in the party who joined the ruling TRS and were given senior positions, he asked: “How can KCR build a new Telangana with leaders from other parties?”

While the JSP chief was hitting at KCR, Mayawati said that she wanted to see Pawan Kalyan come into power in Andhra Pradesh in the upcoming general elections. Joining JSP chief in his comment on KCR, Mayawati also stabbed the chief minister for taking the seat even when 70 percent of the Telangana population belonged to the SC, ST, and OBC communities. Keeping her eye on the opposition she said, “Congress ruled the country for 70 years and has lost the faith of people in many states across the country. The BJP came into power in 2014 general elections by its fake Jumlas and unimplemented promises. It did not assure people of its work.”
