Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital. The Prime Minister’s Office tweeted a picture of the meeting.
The ruling JD(S)–Congress alliance in Karnataka in under threats since its formed with many of the Lawmakers upset with the leadership.

A State cabinet expansion in Karnataka is on the cards to pacify the growing dissent among some of the Lawmakers in the state. Presently, there are three cabinet vacancies which will be filled with 2 from JD-S quota while one from Congress quota.

While Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brigadier BD Mishra (retd) also called on the PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday.

While earlier in the day, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Reportedly Odisha Chief Minister sought an assistance package of Rs 5,000 crore for the state post-Cyclone Fani.
Earlier on Monday, West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi on Monday arrived in the national capital and meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi following a post-poll clash between TMC–BJP in West Bengal.
Soon after assuming office as Prime Minister for the second term, Narendra Modi on May 31 met Governors of many states in the national capital.
Those who met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi include – Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan, Kerela Governor Justice P Sathasivam, Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal, Governor of Jharkhand Droupadi Murmu, Andaman and Nicobar Governor Admiral DK Joshi, and Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao, Governor of Maharashtra.
