Over the last few days, regional and national media has been covering false news about the protest on 22nd July called by Shri Rajput Karni Sena. The protest on coming Saturday is to continue demanding justice in Anand Pal Singh case, the alleged gangster who was reportedly killed in a police encounter.
The government of Rajasthan is not leaving any stone unturned in suppressing the movement. In the latest developments, it has reached out to the media houses and asked them to portray the protest in a bad light. A Hindi daily, named Amar Ujala reported that the Rajput organisations have called off the movement which was earlier scheduled for 22nd July. Along with this, there are a number of other media reports trying to mislead the protestors.
Not only this, the media has been pressurised by the government officials since the day Anand Pal Singh was reportedly encountered. Media reports on the case have been very biased in the whole episode.
