K Chandrasekhar Rao

K Chandrasekhar Rao is all set to hit the election battleground and is expected to start the campaign from October 3rd. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Tuesday decided to hold public meetings with the Chief Minister as the chief guest in the five districts of Nalgonda, Warangal, Mahabubnagar, Khammam besides Nizamabad. The first of his meetings will be held in Nizamabad.

The itinerary has been decided and the current care-taker CM of the state will be addressing public meetings back to back. After the public meeting in Nizamabad, the second one will be in Nalgonda on October 4 which will be followed by a meeting in Wanaparthy on 5th October while he will be visiting Warangal and Khammam on 7th and 8th October respectively.

Earlier, on 7th September KCR held a public meeting at Husnabad in Siddipet district on the day after the State Assembly was dissolved. The Chief Minister had asked the party candidates, leaders and party workers to start working for the upcoming elections. He had announced the names of candidates for 105 constituencies on the day the assembly was dissolved. After the CM’s address the ministers and the nominated candidates immediately began the campaign in their respective constituencies.

As CM is busy seeing some development works, his involvement in the campaign will give further encouragement to the party workers. The TRS is the first party in the state to have finalized the party candidates while its oppositions are still lagging behind.

Although the Election Commission hasn’t decided on when exactly they will conduct the election after the premature dissolution of the assembly, KCR led TRS seems to leave no chance to luck and hence have started the preparations already.
