Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) Chief and Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao, during his ongoing four-day trip, is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.

He also traveled to Bhubaneswar and Kolkata on his mission to bring the regional parties together under the umbrella of a Federal Front without the two major political parties of India — BJP and Congress.

Also, Rao is expected to meet Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) Chief Mayawati and Samajwadi Party(SP) President Akhilesh Yadav later this week.

Rao announced before the media that his action plan for the Federal Front is ready to be executed and he would reveal the concept during his stay in New Delhi.

He has already discussed his concept of Federal Front with Biju Janata Dal(BJD) Leader and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

On his visit to West Bengal, he discussed the idea for the second time with Trinamool Congress Chief and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.

Rao, in his meeting with PM Modi, is likely to take up several pending issues like the bifurcation of the Hyderabad High Court, demand for National Project Status for the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme. Another issue to be discussed is regarding the handing over of the Bison Polo ground by the Defence authorities for construction of a new integrated State Secretariat complex.

He is also going to discuss the demand for hike in reservation for Muslims and Tribals of Telangana proportionate to their population in the state.
