Though the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has not made any official announcement vis-a-vis its candidates in Delhi for next year’s Lok Sabha elections, Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday sought votes for party’s South Delhi Lok Sabha seat in-charge Raghav Chadha while interacting with locals during his inspection inspecting a lake revival project in Rajokri.

Interacting with locals in Rajkori which falls under the southeast Delhi constituency, Kejriwal who was along with Raghav Chadha said if he wins, he will personally ensure that pucca dwellings are constructed for residents of the local slum clusters.

The Delhi chief minister while promising houses to the people in the Rajokari area said, “There are elections in April-May. This is Raghav Chadha. Vote for him in the elections and giving ‘pucca’ houses to you all is my responsibility,” Kejriwal said.

While pointing his guns towards Bhartiya Janta Party, Delhi Chief Minister added, “Last time, you gave all (seven) seats to the BJP. BJP MPs don’t do any constructive work. Their only job is to obstruct us in every step”.

The Aam Aadmi Party has appointed In-charges in six out of seven Parliamentary seats in Delhi in a run-up to the Lok Sabha 2019 in Raghav Chadha as a ‘prabhari’ of South Delhi. However, the party has not declared any candidate in any of the seats.

During a public meeting earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had declared Atishi Marlena the Lok Sabha candidate from East Delhi. Party has appointed Ms. Marlena as the party’s Incharge of East Delhi.

Apart from this, The National Council of the party is slated to meet on December 29, Saturday (today) to discuss strategies for Upcoming Lok Sabha 2019.
