Without direct referring to AAP rebel Sukhapal Singh Khaira, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Haryana take a jibe at him and said, “AAP was formed for curbing corruption and not for fulfilling the greed for post and power of a handful of people. I repeat: seekers of power and post can leave the party at any moment. It will strengthen the party and its ideology.”

Sukhpal Singh Khaira who was suspended from AAP in November last year for alleged “anti-party activities” and for “continuously attacking central and state leadership”, resign from the party’s primary membership on Jan 6. He is reportedly working to float new political outfit.

AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal was interacting with media persons after his address to nearly 1,000 people gathered under the banner of Pension Bahali Sangarh Samiti (PBSS), Haryana, an organisation struggling for implementation of Old Pension System (OPS).

During his address, Kejriwal announced that his party would implement Old Pension System for government employees if AAP comes to power in Haryana. Attacking BJP and Congress, Delhi CM added ‘You will never get the pension scheme from BJP or Congress government. Old Pension Scheme in Haryana will only come into force if AAP voted to power in the state. Hailing his government in Delhi, He said we have already introduced the system in National Capital and its pending for Centre’s approval.

State Polls in Haryana is slated later year in the year after Lok Sabha Polls 2019.
