Poonjar MLA P.C. George‘s party, Kerala Janapaksham got disbanded and was replaced with Kerala Janapaksham (Secular). Shaun George, son of PC George, will be the party’s new acting Chairman.
The political party, Kerala Janapaksham, broke up after and its place was taken by Kerala Janapaksham (Secular). Addressing the media about the newly formed party PC George said, “Kerala Janapaksham was constituted under Societies Registration Act, which is now turning into a political party. The entire functionaries should resign and a new administrative body has to be formed as part of the process,” said P.C. George.
“A lot of process has to be completed before registering with the Election Commission.I am named as the chairman to take care of the registration process only, and a new chairman will be elected in the organisational elections later,” said Shaun George, son of PC George and the new acting chairman of the party.
P.C. George, leader of Kerala Janapaksham initially had joined the NDA from the Congress earlier. He is a six time legislator from Kottayam.
“BJP has done lot for farmers. I support NDA in this election for what they have done for the farmers… BJP has done lot for farmers. I support NDA in this election for what they have done for the farmers,” George had said earlier.
