Haryana Congress President Kumari Selja slams BJP for using unethical means in government formation in Maharashtra

Expressing her discontent with the recent government formation in the Maharashtra state, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Kumari Selja said that the saffron party has used unethical means to hold onto power.

The leader said that the newly formed government has given no consideration to the mandate of the people. The Congress leader was speaking of her mind at a protest organized in Kurukshetra.

As quoted by ANi, she said, “BJP is not even sure of the number of MLAs in support, yet the Chief Minister took the oath in the early morning just to grab power. They do not bother about democratic values and constitutional property.

Kumari Selja also alleged that the Bhartiya Janta Party is involved in corruption scandals and electoral bonds are one of those practices. She said that due to the corrupt practices of the saffron party, BJP has received 95% of the total funds. The leader also attacked the ongoing economic slowdown in the nation where jobs are virtually dead.

Hitting at the high-level corruption in the paddy purchase, she said that the Haryana government has cheated the population of Haryana. As quoted by ANI, she said, “While the government is boasting on new job opportunities, the fact is that people are becoming jobless. Meanwhile, while the government was busy trying to grab power, various scams in the purchase of paddy crop amounting to crores of rupees went unnoticed.”

Furthermore speaking about the Manohar Lal Khattar government, Kumari Selja said that the parties have compromised on their ideologies. She also added that such a government would not last long.
