Another case of exchange of political favors with lands. After Robert Vadra, Sonia Gandhi‘s son-in-law, now Lalu Prasad Yadav is accused of the same. BJP leader, Sushil Modi called RJD Chief, Lalu Prasad Yadav, another Rober Vadra. Over 125 properties owned by Lalu and his family are under Benami transaction. In the month of May, Lalu faced trails in Supreme Court for all four fodder cases and was termed as a symbol of corruption and criminalisation. His son, Tej Pratap Yadav was also accused by Sushil Modi for hiding his Aurangabad property in the affidavit. PM Modi is also collecting details about the same so that they can approach Election Commission to take steps against them.
Sushil Modi also accused CM Nitish Kumar, as he always talks about non-tolerance for corruption, but he has not yet taken any step against corruption cases taken up by the Income Tax officers against Lalu Prasad Yadav. He wants to know that why Nitish Kumar is silent and is doing nothing even though two of Lalu’s sons hold a key position in State Cabinet.
Does this mean that Nitish Kumar is against corruption but is in favor of power?
