Addressing a rally in Odisha‘s mineral-rich belt of Keonjhar district, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) President Amit Shah hit out at the Naveen Patnaik‘s government to encourage the looters in the state to exploit the minerals and cited M B Shah Commission of inquiry on Illegal mining of iron and manganese ore in Odisha. The BJP President urged the people to vote for BJP to bring development in the state in the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls.
Amit Shah said, ” M B Shah Commission investigated the mining in the state from 2005 to 2014 and found corruption in the mining. Naveen Patnaik does not come down on the bureaucrats who are looting the mineral wealth.” The BJP President said that Odisha has a soil rich in its mineral that can feed the entire nation. If people want this corruption to stop, they should vote for BJP.
After the severe warning from the Election commission, Shah addressed the rally and urged people to cast their votes in the name of the martyrs of the Pulwama attack and the Airstrike by the Indian Army. He said, “In 10 years of Sonia–Manmohan government, terrorist were given shelter in India. But after Pulwama, Modiji ordered the Air force to reciprocate the terror in the terrorists’ habitats.
Amit Shah addressed the state with BJP’s achievements and reminded people of the hospitals that were built by the Modi government and Naveen Patnaik did not contribute anything to it. Amit Shah said that through District mineral Fund (DMF), Keonjhar has received Rs 1,600 crores that were used in making the hospital. He questioned Naveen Patnaik of not taking any action on the alleged chit fund scam people. Amit Shah promised people to punish the accused in the scam if BJP comes to power.
Amit Shah urged the voters to cast their vote in favor of the Modi government that resolves to take care of Odisha’ infrastructure and culture. Shah took a dig on Congress president Rahul Gandhi saying, the leader himself did not criticize the remarks by NC leader Omar Abdullah who demands a separate PM for Jammu and Kashmir.
