Anti-BJP frontShivpal willing to join hands with Congress to defeat BJP in Lok Sabha polls

Samajwadi Party (SP) rebel Shivpal Yadav who lately floated the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) has expressed his willingness to tie-up with Rahul Gandhi-led Congress to defeat the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party(BJP) in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections slated to be held in April-May 2019.

He also told the media that his party’s outfits are in as many as 75 districts in the state where it is going to contest against BJP.

Yadav, who was ousted from the Samajwadi Party by his nephew Akhilesh Yadav, was in Bareilly on Tuesday night to take part in a programme. He urged all the opposition parties trying to form a morcha against the ruling BJP to talk to his party which was ready to consider the issue carefully.

In a move initiated by Telugu Desam Party Chief Chandrababu Naidu, lately many opposition parties met before the recent Assembly Elections results to chalk-out a strategy to beat BJP in the forthcoming 2019 Lok Sabha ELections. The meeting was attended by National Conference Chief Farooq Abdullah, Congress President Rahul Gandhi, CPI Leader Sitaram Yechury, and DMK Leader MK Stalin.
