Maharashtra Election 2019 Result : List of Winning candidates

Results for Maharashtra state were declared on October 24. The state went to the polls for its 288 assembly seats on October 21. Bhartiya Janta Party-Shiv Sena alliance bagged the maximum number of seats in the state elections.

Maharashtra recorded an estimated turnout of 59.08 percent, down from the 63.38 percent logged in 2014.

BJP secured a total of 105 seats while its alliance partner Shiv Sena won on 56 seats. Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party came back to regain its credibility by winning 54 seats.

Congress party came on the fourth position with 44 seats. According to the Election Commission data, Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi won on 3 seats, while the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen and Prahar Janshakti Party and Samajwadi Party won 2 seats each.

Traversing low on vote-share, Sawbhimani Pakasha, Rashtriya Samaj Paksha, Peasants and Workers Party of India, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, Krantikari Shetkari Party, Jan Surajya Shakti and Communist Party of India (Marxist) were able to secure only 1 seat each.

It will be the first time that Maharashtra will have the BJP chief minister for the second successive tenure in the office.

Aaditya Thackeray won from Worli seat and CM Devendra Fadnavis won from Nagpur South-West seat.
