Bhartiya Janta Party released the lists of its candidates for the upcoming state polls of Maharashtra. The saffron party has released two different lists which now carry a total of 132 nominees.

Incumbent Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis will contest from Nagpur South West seat. BJP leader Chandrakant Patil will contest from Kothrud. It has been reported that the names of 12 sitting MLAs have been dropped off the final list. Eknath Khadse was dropped off with Education minister Vinod Tawde and Energy minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule.

Maharashtra will go to polls for its 288 assembly seats on October 21 along with Haryana, following which voting will be done on October 24.
