Congress party has released the fifth list of candidates today for the forthcoming general elections to the Assembly of Maharashtra state. The list carries a total of 5 names.

- Mohanrao Marotrao- Nanded South (87)
- Bhausaheb Khushalrao Patil- Mukhed (91)
- Yogesh Shankar Nam- Palghar (ST) (130)
- Santosh Manjaya Shetty- Bhiwandi East (137)
- Chetan Namdeo Mondkar- Kudal (269)
Chetan Namdeo Mondkar has been fielded from Kudal repalcing Hemant Raghoba Kudalkar. The party has also released the fourth list earlier on Thursday.
Important Dates for Maharashtra Polls-
- The detailed notification will be issued on September 27.
- The filing of nominations will begin from September 27 to October 4.
- Scrutiny of applications will be done on October 5.
- Nominations withdrawal can be done till October 7.
- Elections will take place on October 21.
- Counting of votes will be done on October 24.
