Speaking on the upcoming elections, Prakash Ambedkar told media that his political front is open for everyone. He said that the party does not belong to any particular community. The leader also said that the third list containing the remaining names of the candidates will be announced soon.

The leader also said that they will fight on all the seats of the state assembly.

Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi is a coalition of different social groups led by Prakash Ambedkar. It was founded on March 20, 2018. AIMIM was also a constituting element of this outfit until it parted its way with Prakash Ambedkar.

Important Dates for Maharashtra Polls-

  • The detailed notification will be issued on September 27.
  • Filing of nominations for will begin from September 27 to October 4.
  • Scrutiny of applications will be done on October 5.
  • Nominations withdrawal can be done till October 7.
  • Elections will take place on October 21.
  • Counting of votes will be done on October 24.
