On her 63rd Birthday, BSP Supremo Mayawati on Tuesday appealed workers across the state to forget the differences with Samajwadi Party and ensure that the SP-BSP alliance emerge victorious in the upcoming Lok Sabha 2019 Polls. While briefing the Press on her Birthday, BSP Supremo said, ‘Forget past differences and ensure the victory of all candidates of the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party,” Mayawati said at a press conference in Lucknow on her 63rd birthday. “This will be my ideal birthday gift.’

This is the first Press Conference of Mayawati after the BSP Leader had on Saturday held a joint presser with Akhilesh Yadav to announce the tie-up. Both SP-BSP on Saturday announced to contest Lok Sabha Polls 2019 and keep the Congress away from the alliance which is packed on 50:50 seats.

Slamming both Congress and BJP, she said, People are suffering because of flawed policies of BJP and Congress. People have taught a lesson to BJP in recently held Assembly Polls and now its Congress Turn. She said as quoted by ANI, “We have always worked for the poor and the down trodden. The government should give 100% farm loan waiver else farmer suicides will continue. A strong farm loan waiver policy should be made”.

Speaking about the main motive behind forging an alliance with Samajwadi Party, She said, “Our aim is to teach the Bharatiya Janata Party a lesson in 2019”.

While defending her new ally, Mayawati also slammed the Centre for misusing CBI. Earlier BSP-SP had held a joint presser to defend the Samajwadi Party Leader Akhilesh Yadav in his alleged role in illegal Mining Scam.

She said the BJP’s “communal policy” has led to discontentment among people. “Saffron leaders are dividing Gods along caste lines,” she said. “The minority community are not allowed to offer Friday prayer.” She said the farmers, youth, and traders in the country are feeling cheated as the BJP government has failed to fulfill its promise.

On the Occasion, BSP Supremo also released the 14th volume of her book A Travelogue of My Struggle Ridden Life and BSP Movement. She is slated to leave for Delhi later in the day to spend time with the family. Though Formal invitation has been given to any Leader, however, sources claimed that BSP’s Coalition may arrive to wish her, added party sources.

Later, Samajwadi Party Leader Akhilesh Yadav later met Mayawati and greeted BSP Supremo Mayawati on her Birthday.

Earlier, BSP-SP had on Saturday announced its alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls 2019 keeping Congress away from the coalition. Later Congress had on Sunday announced that they will on its own on all seats in the state.
