Mumbai Congress chief Milind Deora, party candidates Urmila Matondkar, Priya Dutt, Sanjay Nirupam, and Shiv Sena’s Arvind Sawant on Monday filed their nominations for the fourth phase of Polling for Lok Sabha Polls 2019.
Congress Mumbai Boss Milind Murli Deora has been named by the party from Mumbai South where he will take on Shiv Sena’s Arvind Sawant. Sawant had on Monday also filed his nominations from the parliamentary Seat he was accompanied by Bharatiya Janata Party‘s Raj Purohit.
While newly Inducted in the party, Film Star Urmila Matondkar rode a motorcycle to file her nominations from Mumbai North. Film Star will take on the Bhartiya Janta Party‘s Gopal Shetty.

Shetty had in 2014 General Elections defeated Former Mumbai Chief of Congress Sanjay Nirupam with a heavy margin of over 4 Lakh Votes. From 2009-2014, Sanjay Nirupam held the seat.

While Priya Dutt was accompanied with brother Sanjay Dutt to file nomination to be in the fray from Mumbai North Central seat. Dutt in a run-up to the general elections will take on Bharatiya Janata Party’s Poonam Mahajan.

Former Mumbai Congress Boss Sanjay Nirupam filed his nomination from Mumbai North West seat, where he is locked in a battle with Shiv Sena’s Gajanan Kirtikar. From 2009-2014, Sanjay Nirupam held the seat of Mumbai North.

The last date to withdraw nominations for the fourth phase is April 11.
Congress in a run-up to the General Elections has forged an alliance with NCP in Maharashtra. The Congress-NCP combine will take on BJP-Shiv Sena alliance in the state that sends 48 parliamentarians to the lower house of the Parliament.
Maharashtra has a total of 48 Seats and will go to polls in four phases starting from April 11, then on April 18, April 23, and April 29.
The Lok Sabha Seats of – Wardha, Ramtek, Nagpur, Bhandara-Gondiya, Gadchiroli-Chimur, Chandrapur, Yavatmal-Washim will go to polls on April 11, the first day of polling.
General Elections are slated to begin from April 11 and would spread on Seven Phases starting from April 11 to May 19. Election Commission had on March 10 declared schedule for General Elections 2019.
Results for the crucial Lok Sabha Polls will be announced on May 23 four days after the 7th phase of voting.
