Addressing a poll rally in Coimbatore Modi talks of BJP’s Sankalp Patra, Kerala’s culture and women empowerment as the major subjects among others.

Starting his speech in the native language of Coimbatore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said how ‘the thoughts of Jayalalitha and MGR continue to guide people’. He said how the ‘pro-people’ works of NDA and the anti-people policies of the opposition. He said how NDA’s policies of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas’ aim development.

He talks of the nationalism spirit of the NDA government and the anti nationalism of the opposition. He says how Congress’ manifesto does not mention the ‘middle class’ in it. ‘The Congress government views the middle class as selfish,’ Modi goes on to state.

Whereas in another statement by Rahul gandhi he had mentioned how the NYAY scheme would benefit the poor people but not put a hike in income taxes of the middle class.

Modi brought the ‘Sabarimala’ issue to the highlight and how the opposition parties stand against the culture of Kerala.

His said that his politics are aimed at women empowerment which is contrary to those of the DMK. “A special task force would be made to ensure proper use of water resources,” explains Modi mentioning how the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ talks about the establishment of a separate ministry to solve water problems.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had earlier joined hands with the AIADMK in Tamil Nadu and then came the statement of Tamil Nadu minister KT Rajendra Balaji that Narendra Modi was like a daddy to the party and also to the nation.
