The celebration of Modi-fest started on 26 May, on the completion of three years of Modi-government at the Centre and will continue till 15 June. The fest is linked with the surname of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi i.e. ‘Making of developed India’. It will focus on the achievements and developments of Modi-government in the past three years.

BJP MPs, MLAs Ministers and office bearers will visit around 900 destinations across India, educating the people about achievements of the government regarding the welfare of dalits, tribals, farmers and youth, since 2014.

The party will be focusing on Modi-fest and is unlikely to give any names until 15 June of the candidate for the President election. Throughout the program, party will specially highlight, demonetisation, surgical strike, goods and service tax bill, welfare schemes for poor like, Ujjwala, Jan Dhan accounts and MUDRA Bank. The fight against corruption and a clean and transparent government is another important agenda of the programme.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed the nation through ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday. BJP president Amit Shah and other party leaders joined the slum-dwellers of Ravidas Ashram as they together listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann ki Baat radio programme. Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari, party MP Meenakshi Lekhi, party vice-president and Delhi unit in-charge Shyam Jaju also accompanied Shah during his visit, making an attempt to connect with the people of slums. Initiatives like this were taken by the party in several other location in Delhi like, Inderpuri, Rohini, Laxmi Nagar, Karol Bagh and Chandni Chowk.
