Lok Sabha session was adjourned for half an hour just after minutes it began the on Thursday.

The session began at 11 a.m. on Thursday and within 5 minuted the opposition began uproar in the House regarding the recent political developments in Bihar and some other issues. Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar on Wednesday evening, broke its grand alliance with RJD and Congress and resigned from the post. Following the break up in the grand alliance, Nitish joined hands with BJP formed his government and re assumed office as the CM of Bihar on Thursday morning.

As soon as the question hour began in the house, with these changes, shaking the core of Bihar politics, Lok Sabha also witnessed ruckus when Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav (RJD) raised the issue of JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar leaving the ‘grand alliance’ and forming a new government with the BJP. He dubbed the incident as ‘murder of democracy’ shouting from his chair.

Apart from chaos over the Bihar government the opposition also continued their protest over the suspension of 6 Congress MLAs or 5 days, demanding the Speaker to revoke her decision. They carried placards which read: “End discrimination, give justice Madam Speaker” and “take back suspension (of six party MPs).” The opposition also demanded discussion over the lynching issues.

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan had suspended 6 Congress MLAs on July 24 following their unbecoming behavior in the House.

Following all this uproar the House was adjourned for half an hour.
