On Tuesday during the proceedings of the Lok Sabha, a BJP MP Kirit Somaiya accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to be attached to a scam relating to shell companies in the state.

Indirectly pointing at RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family, Somaiya also said that a politician in Bihar was attached to a scam related to the shell companies. In the past few months, the premises of Lalu and his family members were searched by CBI and ET departments on many occasions. CBI raids were conducted at 12 locations, including Delhi, Patna, Ranchi, Puri and Gurgaon at the premises of former Railway Minister and his family members.

Similarly, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is also attached to shell companies scam he alleged.

Furiously reacting to the allegations made by Somaiya, almost all the TMC MPs stood up at once and protested at once shouting the allegations were baseless. They shouted slogans against the central government and then also charged at the Well of the House. The MPs objected the allegation and demanded that the Speaker should expunge them from the records immediately.
