All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that the Allah is the owner of the mosques and merely by saying of a Maulvi it cannot be handed over to anyone.

His statement came after the statement of Shia Dharmaguru and India Muslim Personal Law Board Vice President Kalbe Sadiq. Sadiq had said on Sunday that if the decision of the controversial land in Ayodhya comes in favor of the Muslims, then the land should be given to the Hindus. He also added that if the decision does not come in favour of the Muslims even then they should calmly accept it.

Owaisi tweeted that the mosques can not be given just by telling of a Maulana. He said that the owner of these mosques is not any Maulvi but Allah himself and added that once the mosques are built they remain mosques forever. He further added that mosques can be monitored by Shia, Sunni, Barelvi, Sufi, Deobandi, Salafi, Bohri, but they are not the owners of it. The sole owner of the mosques is only Allah he said. Qwaisi told that only those who fear Allah and have faith in the day of doom build the mosques. At the same time, he said that it is the duty of Muslims to pray Namaz in the mosque, it is safe.

Ayodhya dispute was heard in the Supreme Court on August 8. In this hearing, the Shia Central Board of Uttar Pradesh said in its affidavit, “The Babri Masjid area is our property and Ram temple should be built there.” It also read that only the board also the authority to negotiate with other parties for the resolution of this dispute. The affidavit also appealed that for resolving this big dispute, the Board wants to make a committee and it should be given time for it. The Board filed the affidavit for the first time in the Supreme Court.
