Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Monday conducted a roadshow in Indore on the last day of campaigning. Indore, which is considered as the commercial capital of the state has always been termed as a stronghold for the ruling Party. BJP has won all five seats in the district in 2013 Assembly Elections.

BJP President Amit Shah was on a chariot-shaped vehicle at Chikmanglur Square which passed Khatipura, Rajwada, Sarafa Bazaar, and other commercial areas, before reaching its final destination at Sitalmata Kapda Bazaar, a distance of three kms.

During the two hours long roadshow, BJP President was accompanied by BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya and state unit BJP president Rakesh Singh.

During the roadshow, Shah appealed people to elect BJP’s Government in the state for the fourth consecutive time. In a similar development, RSS also announced that it would reach out to farmers across the state to appeal them to vote for BJP in the upcoming elections.

Currently, BJP has a total of 166 seats in the assembly of 200 seats while Congress won 57 in last assembly elections of 2013, BSP on third spot 4 seats.

The voting for the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections is scheduled for November 28. The Counting will take place on December 11 with other four state assembly elections.
